About

Joey Frendo writes songs that feel like short stories, leaning heavily into the classic traditions of country, folk, and roots rock. Since making Tulsa his artistic home base, he has integrated deeply into the local club circuit, frequently performing at staples like the Mercury Lounge. Tulsa roots music fans admire his weathered vocal delivery and sharp songwriting, identifying him as part of the exciting new wave of writers carrying the city's literary musical traditions forward.
