About

John Moreland transitioned from the local punk rock underground into a globally celebrated folk and Americana icon, capturing listeners worldwide with his gravelly voice and emotionally raw songs. His music explores themes of faith, doubt, love, and isolation with an unmatched lyrical precision. Despite his international touring schedule and heavy critical acclaim, he remains a grounded participant in the Tulsa community, serving as a massive source of pride and inspiration for the local independent music scene.
